Smoothies Bowls are our thing. We love them super cold and creamy, loaded with fresh fruit and crunchy toppings. Add blue spirulina to this beauty for the vibrant blue colour. A powerhouse of nutrition, spirulina will provide you energy and a hit of antioxidants to power through your day.

Ingredients

SMOOTHIE

  • 2 frozen bananas, chopped
  • ½ - 1 cup (70-140g) frozen pineapple, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ½ - 1 teaspoon blue spirulina
  • 1 teaspoon mesquite powder (optional)
  • 1 cup (240ml) coconut milk
  • ½ cup (120ml) rice milk

TOPPING

  • 1 fig, sliced
  • 1 peach, sliced
  • ½ plum, sliced
  • ½ kiwi, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

Method

  1. Place frozen bananas, pineapple, almond butter, ½ teaspoon blue spirulina, mesquite powder, coconut and rice milk in your blender and whizz till smooth. Taste and check colour. If you like, add extra ½ teaspoon spirulina.
  2. Pour into your bowl and top with fruit, coconut and almond butter.
  3. Devour!
